Six days of painting and plenty of red, white, and black were needed to complete this large-scale mural by How and Nosm in the Arts District in downtown Los Angeles. The two artists will be displaying their work at Known Gallery this Saturday, October 15 in Los Angeles.

Tonight, September 17, at Known Gallery in Los Angeles, graffiti and fine artist Eric Haze and Greg Lamarche each open exhibitions, respectively. Haze, in particular, created a video for the making of his exhibition, New Mathematics.

In Graffiti: Rime And Roids Detroit to Los Angeles

Here is a new video shot by Noah Banks following artists Rime and Roids. The video is titled “Detroit to Los Angeles” and is accompanied with a nice White Stripes soundtrack. Filmmaker Noah Banks joined Rime and Roids in Detroit, Michigan in July of 2011, following along with them as they painted walls and prepared work for their show at Known Gallery in Los Angeles.

“I Can See For Miles” opens this Friday, September 17 at Know Gallery in Los Angeles featuring new work from Greg Lamarche.   As Known Gallery states, “This show offers a wide range of styles from hand cut letter pieces to abstracted paper remnants as well as representational collages.  The exhibition also features a site-specific wall drawing of hand drawn and designed letter forms.”  So now you have something to do this Friday right?  Yes.
