We stopped by the opening for Victor Reyes' latest exhibition, The Jungle' this past Saturday at Known Gallery. The Jungle is a two yearlong exploration of human nature and survival. Jungle themes first appeared on Reyes’ black and while murals and have been translated into the subject of many paintings on wood panel that explore a variety of color palettes. Dylan Maddux's newest exhibition Cambodia, The New Life opened this past Saturday at Known Gallery in Los Angeles. Maddux has been in Southeast Asia for the last year and a half, mostly in Bangkok photographing fashion, red light, and street culture. He has recently moved to Phnom Penh, Cambodia where he is currently working on completing his first book.Photos and more after the jump..

We stopped by the opening reception for Excavated Revelations, a two-person show featuring the artwork of ZES and RETNA. Introduced in their youth by their mutual friend AYER, ZES and RETNA led parallel lives through an upbringing in graffiti. Utilizing a fluidity and precision they mastered by painting some of the most coveted walls in the city, their refined technique is now exemplified in this fresh body of abstract work. Over the past 25 years, Miller has built an expansive portfolio that includes over 300 major record covers, the most iconic supermodels of the ‘90s and some of the biggest names in rap and jazz.
