Last month, Rime and KC collaborated on work for a group show at Known Gallery in Los Angeles titled SKETCHY M%#HERFUCKERS.  This video offers a behind the scenes look at the inspirations for much of the work, highlighting some funny banter induced by mind melting fungi.

We stopped by Known Gallery this past weekend to check out LEGOLIZE IT! | INDISPENSABLE: Art by the ounce. Done in compliance with CA Proposition 215, the LAgo brand, the show featured. Synthetic starter-plants, seedlings, clones, and a totally huge selection of intoxicating, fake plastic buds- all built with LEGO bricks to resemble some of the finest strains of medicinal marijuana ever grown will be on display and available for limited purchase.

Augustine Kofie’s solo exhibition Working an Angle opens this Saturday May 26, 2012 at Known Gallery in Los Angeles.  The show will feature dense collages and assemblage on wood with yardstick framing, paintings on canvas and hand painted multiples.  This will be the artists first solo exhibition in his hometown of Los Angeles in three years and will definitely be worth checking out.

We stopped by the opening for Victor Reyes' latest exhibition, The Jungle' this past Saturday at Known Gallery. The Jungle is a two yearlong exploration of human nature and survival. Jungle themes first appeared on Reyes’ black and while murals and have been translated into the subject of many paintings on wood panel that explore a variety of color palettes.
