Los Angeles based gallery Thinkspace has teamed up with Gallery 309 in Philadelphia, PA to present ‘LAX / PHL’. This special group exhibition has been curated by Thinkspace to further introduce our roster to the City of Brotherly Love. Featuring new works from over 40 artists from around the world and an installation from Philly’s very own NoseGo, the exhibition will run from May 11th through June 21st.

Thinkspace is pleased to present 'Vanguard', opening on May 4, 2013, an exciting group exhibition of new works by the gallery’s established artists, and by recent additions to its roster. This special exhibition will provide a curated glimpse into the New Contemporary Art Movement with a dynamic selection of artwork representing the diverse range of its artists and their practices. These artists are unified by the shared intent to create exceptional artwork that speaks relevantly to contemporary culture.

We have always enjoyed the works of Kevin Peterson. His work is about the varied journeys we take through life. It’s about growing up and living in a world that is broken. These paintings are about trauma, fear and loneliness and the strength that it takes to survive and thrive. They each contain the contrast of the untainted, young and innocent against a backdrop of a worn, ragged, and defiled world

Houston, Texas-based painter Kevin Peterson has become quite popular in the art world in recent years, especially because his photorealistically rendered portraits have both youthful and urban art elements that suck you into their location. Peterson is set to open Amend, a solo exhibition at Thinkspace Gallery in Culver City this Saturday, November 3, 2012.

Sometimes we wonder when we see work like Houston-based Kevin Peterson, with his ability to recreate photorealistic quality paintings with graffiti included, what sort of graff artist he would be? Obviously, we can only assuem he would have some success given these painitings.
