Foam proudly presents The Nine and The Ninety Nine, an exhibition of the American photographer Katy Grannan (1969, USA), comprising her two newest series which are shown here for the first time outside the United States. Grannan is renowned for her remarkable and intimate portraits of strangers, most of whom are somehow living on the fringes of society.

Currently on display at Fraenkel Gallery is a group exhibition curated by Katy Grannan entitled The Heart is a Lonely Hunter. This exhibition will present photographs and other objects by 18 artists, all of whom are being shown at the gallery for the first time. The title of the exhibition refers to Carson McCullers’ novel, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, and the poem that inspired it, The Lonely Hunter, written by Fiona MacLeod (aka William Sharp).
