Welcome to the fantastic world of Chiho Aoshima (who is part of the great group of Japanese artists under the Kaikai Kiki family). This might just be our future. Who’s to say that as technology advances, as natural disasters rise, as the organic world blends with the manmade, that smartphones will not become smart buildings? That skyscrapers will not stand up and walk among mountains? That ghosts and spirits don’t already float through our world?

Let's face it. Chances are you didin't make it to Tokyo for the opening of KAWS' new exhibition, Ohhh..., at Murakami's Kaikai Kiki space. It opened tonight, but in Tokyo time, that means its already open. NYC's KAWS, an artist with one of the cleanest line styles in the world, will be opening a new exhibition, Ohhh... at Tokyo's KaiKai Kiki Gallery from May 2—29, 2013. Just like we have seen in the past few bits of KAWS news, whether at a Thanksgiving Parade or a gigantic companion piece outside his exhibition at Galerie Perrotin in Paris, this will have a highlight.

Of course, The Armory Show was the main event in NYC this past weekend, and with strong showings from Kaikai Kiki, V1, and then the entire Nordic Countries fair, here is our walkthrough recap of the entire fair.
