Kai Wiedenhöfer's Wallonwall Project

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, July 17, 2013
Berlin native and photographer Kai Wiedenhöfer watched the Wall come down and expected it to be the final moment for oppressive barriers between populations. Unfortunatley, the last few decades have seen a huge increase in xenophobia and border protection. Kai has since traveled the world capturing these walls and has now printed eight of the photographs, 30 x 10 ft panoramas and mounted them on the last remnants of the Berlin Wall in a powerful reminder to us all.
