Because I still have the intense memories of seeing the original and always-will-be-the-best "Jurassic Park" in a movie theater, I probably will be a little disappointed by the new installment of the Park legacy that opens this Friday, "Jurassic World." But I will be there regardless. There is a ton of Jurassic stuff on the web right now, and we love this 8-bit, Nintendo vibe'd version of "Jurassic Park" that we watched this morning.

As evidence by Nintendo and Super Mario Bros, any bit of information can be processed through 8-bit graphics and be highly legible. It worked for Zelda, Mike Tyson, and Bases Loaded, and now it works for Hollywood, thanks to this 8-bit movie poster project by Eric Palmer. Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Kill Bill, all here. And you can order a print for yourself on Palmer's Behance profile.

Poster boutique, Mondo, just released a new poster by Aaron Horkey, dealing with a subject we can all get behind: Jurassic Park. This is the first in Mondo's new series of licensed Jurassic Park posters, with Horkey being the first artist to see a release.

ThisIsColossal found this great video that Tal Moskovich created as an infographic animation of Dr Alan Grant explaining the danger of the raptor.
