Harmony Korine happens to be on the cover of our July 2011 issue of Juxtapoz, and he also happens to be in the Richardson Magazine presented exhibition, The Male Gaze, up at Maccarone Gallery in NYC. The show features works by Nate Lowman, Harmony Korine, Adam McEwen, Leigh Ledare, and Otto Muehl. amongst others.

After hitting the Costacos Brothers show and Ed Templeton's photo exhibit, we made it over to Chelsea and Jeremy Fish's new solo show at Joshua Liner Gallery. The show, Listen and Learn, featured works that were based on stories (that you could listen to on site) that Fish gathered from friends and people he admired over the course of the past year.

Ed Templeton opened a really great photo exhibition, Teenage Kissers, at Half Gallery in NYC's Lower East Side on Thursday night. Again, a huge crowd came out, spilling onto the street, with Ed, CR Stecyk III, and Glen E Friedman amongst those in attendance.

We made it out to NYC this past Thursday for the opening of "For the Kids," a retrospective of the 1980's sports poster art body of work from Seattle's Costacos Brothers. We got to spend the afternoon on a Lower East Side basketball court with the Brothers, and headed over to the packed opening.

While most of the Juxtapoz staff was back in NYC last night, a few of the team stayed back and headed to the very special Margaret Kilgallen retrospective, Summer/Selections, at Ratio 3 in San Francisco. It was a packed house, everyone honored to see the late artists breathtaking work.
