Julee Yoon's Cross-Cultural Designs

Illustration // Tuesday, July 09, 2013
Julee Yoo was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. After studying illustration at Parsons the New School of Design in New York City, Julee now works as a full-time illustrator. Her artwork is fraught with the symbolic language of clashing cultures; the pastoral linework of french textiles meet Korean characters in a landscape of tentative pencil-work. These pieces are lovely, lyrical and challenging.
