One of the most influential photographers of the last 30 years (see all the good Marc Jacobs ads), whose style of the over-exaggerated flash has seen countless followers, Juergen Teller just opened Woo! at the ICA in London this week. The exhibition features a "seamless journey through his landmark fashion and commercial photography from the 90s." A great look into the world of a photographer who has some of the most personal photos of influential celebrity-types ever shot.

Juergen Teller's photographic style and refusal to separate commercial and un-commissioned personal work has become a recognizable characteristic of his output. Teller's photography has thrived in both the commercial and fine art realms; he has been working with Marc Jacobs for the past 14 years as well as shown his work in prestigious museums such as MoMA.

We know Ron Howard got unprecedented access to film The Da Vinci Code" at the Louvre, and it was hard to get that nod of approval. Apparently, when shooting nude women for fine art sake (because let's face it, Tom Hanks was not in fine Oscar-mode playing Robert Langdon) and being Juergen Teller means you can shoot in the Louvre with your naked subjects all you want. More after the jump . . .
