Something for the Arizona crowd to look forward to. Portland, Oregon-based fine artist Josh Keyes will be opening Above and Below at the University of Arizona's Joseph Gross Gallery in Tucson starting on May 21, 2012. As the Gallery notes, "Above and Below dissects into a syncopated and practiced arrangement of uncommon encounters. Keyes’ creatures embody global political and social upheaval while poised to face the colossal summit of civil decay."

Josh Keyes opened a new solo show, Migration, at Jonathan LeVine Gallery in NYC this past weekend. We stopped by for the opening, because, as you know, they don't like to show you all the Keyes' pieces until opening night. A nice collection of works, including our favorite one here, is on display through November 19, 2011.

What we like about this show, besides the fact that every new body of Josh Keyes' work is something to tune into, is that it quite local for the Juxtapoz set. We get to roll out of the office and walk on over. Keyes' will open a new solo show, "The Magician's Garden" at Fecal Face Dot Gallery's new Lower Haight location in San Francisco on April 7, 2011. More details after the jump . . .

Josh Keyes' Collision show at David B Smith was something we have looked forward to all year. Gracing the cover of our February 2010 issue (n109), Josh has become a close member of the Juxtapoz family. As with all his shows, we are all excited to see the 10 new paintings he will unveil in Denver this Friday night. We have a few images after the jump...
