Joseph Martinez is known best for his insanely miniscule, gorgeously-rendered matchbook paintings. His most recent ones feature explicit content, which hit you even harder because you have to lean in so close to look at them correctly. Martinez makes the most out of these found objects-turned-canvases, and we're really into these kinkier ones. Welcome to the tiny peepshow.

We have shown the work of LA-based artist Joseph Martinez before, exhibiting his starnge, cubist bust-drawings and depictions of human hearts rendered with pieces of dollar bills. This morning we take a look at his tiny, miniscule matchbook artworks!

Martinez works in drawing and multi-media and is best known for his miniscule matchbook artworks. We love his strange, cubist bust-drawings and these depictions of human hearts painstakingly rendered with pieces of dollar bills. Martinez represents the world through a sensitive, strong eye that is sure to continue producing great work.
