Joanna Krótka's florid, mysterious illustrations are inspired by sci-fi, psychedelia, fairytales and dreams. Her style is both graphic and painterly, combining spindly linework with bold coloration to create narrative images that rage with a mythic sensibility. She received an MFA in Graphic Arts with a specilisation in book design in 2010 and is now based in Krakow, Poland. Krótka is currently working toward publishing a full length comic book of her own.

She lkes to draw a lot, listen to 70's prog rock, visit flea markets and watch productions starring British actors. She is inspired by pretty much everything, but mostly sci-fi (literature and movies), psychedelic pictures, fairy tales and dreams.
