Over the past year, Juxtapoz and Converse have teamed on a unique project, Wall to Wall, where we invite an artist in a city in North America to create a semi-permanent mural based around the artist's interpretation of the iconic Converse star. Today, we look back on the mural created in Brooklyn, our second there, by former Juxtapoz feature artist Jersey Joe. The piece was featured on the back of our January 2013 issue.

Using arrest sheets found in a Detroit abandoned police station as his canvases, Jersey Joe aka Rime, had created a series of works that will now be available as prints through 1xRUN. Starting tomorrow, two separate limited editions will be available for purchase. There is also bonus video that was made in conjunction with this release that is highly entertaining.

In part of the Converse Wall to Wall Project, Jersey Joe aka Rime was enlisted to paint the side of the iconic New Apollo restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This video gives insight into Jersey Joe’s background and process with his artistic practice.
