Jeremy Fish, who last graced our magazine cover in December 2006, is back with a special cover and type treatment made for Juxtapoz' October 2011 issue. Jeremy's portrait is also a special edition, stopping traffic in one of the busiest intersections in San Francisco so his lounge chair could be rolled to Columbus and Broadway.

The assistant director for Joshua Liner Gallery, Tim Strazza, was recently diagnosed with MS. A group of artists have come together and donated work to be auctioned off to help cover his medical costs. Tonight, July 28th from 7-10 pm at Joshua Liner Gallery in NYC, head over and donate and get some great pieces for a great cause.

As we gear up for the Square Enix Deus Ex: Human Revolution contemporary art show this week, we bring you two unreleased images from the show: original works by N8 Van Dyke (after the jump) and Jorge Alderete (above) inspired by the futuristic storyline of DE: HR, which hits shelves for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation video game and entertainment systems on August 23.

We just got our hands on what appears to be the first piece of artwork from the upcoming DEUS EX: Human Revolution contemporary art group show. The image was created by Jeremy Fish and represents his take on the pro and anti human augmentation futuristic theme explored in the video game, which comes out on August 23.

After hitting the Costacos Brothers show and Ed Templeton's photo exhibit, we made it over to Chelsea and Jeremy Fish's new solo show at Joshua Liner Gallery. The show, Listen and Learn, featured works that were based on stories (that you could listen to on site) that Fish gathered from friends and people he admired over the course of the past year.

Today, we can finally share details around an upcoming art project that we’ve been working on with Square Enix, for the launch of the next iteration in their popular DEUS EX video game franchise, DEUS EX: Human Revolution. We’ve partnered with Square Enix’s creative team to select nine contemporary artists, from across the country, to create original woks based on the DEUS EX: Human Revolution storyline.
