We gave you a preview of Jeremy Fish's new exhibition, "Hunting Trophies," at Mark Moore Gallery in Culver City a few weeks back, and now we have some views of the installation and set-up of the paintings and mixed-media works in the show. The 2x Juxtapoz cover artist's show consists of 25 new paintings placed into a 17 x 17 foot hunting lodge installation, and you can walk through a beard to get there.

Two-time Juxtapoz artist and recent collaborator on our recent Surfcraft project, Jeremy Fish is set to open a brand new body of work at Mark Moore Gallery's Project Room on April 4, 2014. "Hunting Trophines" will comprise of 25 new paintings placed into a 17 x 17 foot hunting lodge installation, which knowing Fish will be epic and immersive. Which means you are going to want to check it out in person. 

Waves For Water Benefit Auction is LIVE!

Juxtapoz Magazine, Encinitas, California-based shop UNIV and San Francisco-based Chandran Gallery have teamed for a special auction and exhibition benefit for Waves For Water, an organization on the ground in the Philippines, mobilizing an urgent clean water disaster relief initiative in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Haiyan. From March 18—31st, a special curated selection of hand-painted surfboards will be available at auction on Paddle8. Artists who participated include Geoff McFetridge, CR Stecyk III, Tim Biskup, Lucy McLauchlan, Andrew Schoultz and more.

Kickstarter: Custom Pinball Machine Art Show

Tilt Warning Customs has teamed up with artists to build an entirely custom classic pinball arcade art installation featuring five mechanically restored vintage 1970s machines reimagined by COOP, Frank Kozik, Alex Pardee, Sam Flores, and Jeremy Fish. Should the Kickstarter funding come through, they will start by opening at FIFTY24SF next year.

Last week, we headed over to Jeremy Fish's San Francisco studio to check out all the new work he was preparing for his exhibition, Where Hearts Get Left, opening Saturday, July 14, at FIFTY24SF Gallery. The show, featuring new paintings, sculptures, drawings, a new book, and a six screenprints, is all built around the concept of "a visual love letter to San Francisco," where Fish noted, "I am begging her to not become a sterile West Coast Manhattan any time soon. What are the constants? What are the things I will always love about SF no matter what happens?”

Showing at Upper Playground's FIFTY24SF for the first time in 5 years, the exhibition features 60+ new works and is inspired by and created as a visual love letter to the city of San Francisco.
