Sea No Evil 2011 opened in Riverside, California at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium last night showcasing work from more than one hundred artists. Mainstays like Shepard Fairey, Gary Baseman, Lola, Travis Louie, Clayton Brothers, Jeff Soto and many more donated pieces specially produced for the show.

Jeff Soto is set to release his new April prints, this one in particular called the "Mother and Father" print. The print is being made with UV inks on sustainable FSC certified 1/2" plywood at 31.5" x 20" and is signed and numbered at an edition of 20 prints, available on Thursday April 21, 2011 at Noon Pacific Time. Longtime friends and associates Maxx242 and Jeff Soto have just finished their inaugural collaboration and created two limited-edition art decks for REAL. Released today, the project includes two limited edition decks, both made in limited quantities of 200 each. And this Monday, November 1st, Juxtapoz is giving away a set.

We mentioned Maxx242 and Jeff Soto’s collaborative piece release in Tokyo this weekend, which will include two new Real decks. Only 200 have been made of each deck of which 150 will be on sale in the United States.

Just announced, a new Jeff Soto (Juxtapoz #99) print is due to be released mid-November. The offset litho print features an image of The Seeker, a painting from Lifecycle—Soto's most recent solo exhibition.

Those are artists Jeff Soto and Maxx242 back in 1994 up there. Clearly, these two successful creators have been friends for a while; therefore their new ‘secret’ project dubbed Maxx242VsJeffSoto has deep roots.
