Jonathan LeVine Gallery is pleased to announce Decay and Overgrowth, a series of new works by Southern California-based artist and 2x Juxtapoz cover artist, Jeff Soto, in what will be his fourth solo exhibition at the gallery. Expanding upon the themes explored previously in Lifecycle, Soto’s solo 2010 exhibition, works in Decay and Overgrowth deal with the passage of time, early man and life after death, as well as primitive myths and legends attempting to explain the unknown.

Prints On Wood Jeff Soto Release

Prints On Wood's "The Menace," aka Seeker Friends #3, will be released today, the third wood print from artist Jeff Soto collaboration with online print company Prints on Wood. It's a signed-and-numbered UV print on high-quality plywood, and just like the previous two Seeker Friends releases, "The Menace" will also be a timed-release, meaning it will only be available for purchase for a limited 24 hours. The total amount sold in 24 hours determines the total number in the release.

Munk One for Blink 182 Video

Juxtapoz contributing illustrator and political cartoonist, Munk One, made a special edition print for Blink 182's 20th anniversary print series, in which the band is releasing a new print each month to celebrate the year. Well, Munk's print sold-out in about one minute. But, we do have a nice video that Munk made to honor this print, which you can watch after the jump . . .

Art Basel: Wynwood Walls Gallery Exhibition

After we checked out the Wynwood Walls compound and surrounding epicenter of street art and murals during Art Basel week, we checked out the Wynwood Walls group exhibition that featured some great works from Liqen, Nunca, Interesni Kazki, Retna, Shepard Fairey, Futura, How & Nosm, Saner, Aiko, Jeff Soto and others.

We took the long, one block hike from the Underbelly Project preview to check out all the murals of Wynwood Walls, which were nicely lit for those who wanted to take some night shots. Ryan McGinness, Retna, Date Farmers, How and Nosm, Interesni Kazki, Saner, Jeff Soto, Shepard Fairey, and huge roster of others all have murals in the Wynwood area.

Jeff Soto set to Release 3 New Prints
