This Friday, October 12 at the House of Vans in Brooklyn, Vans will be opening Supply and Demand 2012 featuring works from Russ Pope, Neil Blender, Nathaniel Russel, Chris Yormick, Jay Howell, Jamahl Williams, Rich Jacobs, Dennis Mcnett and Jai Tanju.

Whenever I'm in the mood for stacks of scantily clad party rockers, ware-wolves, motorcycle gangs, booze hounds, floozies, house parties, block parties, romance, lust, adventure or just a bunch of dudes hanging out, I turn to the work of Los Angeles based artist and illustrator, Jay Howell. His work has graced the pages of countless book pages, cartoons and animations, there's no slowing down this Night Train.

Longtime Juxtapoz friends Jay Howell and Jim Dirschberger sit down to talk about their all new animated series for Vans Offthewall.tv This new show, “Classic Tales”, teams Jim and Jay up with the Vans skate crew. Through the comedic medium of story telling and creativity, the guys help shed light and possibly put to rest some legendary tales of drunken nights and psychedelic adventures around the world.

In this Juxtapoz Presents episode for Time and Space, Chris "Silent Giant" Yormick, Rich "Oaktown" Jacobs, Jay "6/5 Retard" Howell, and Russ "Thee" Pope—four old friends and four superb artists—embark on their undertaking of the first ever art show at the House of Vans in Brooklyn, New York: the Supply and Demand art exhibit (sponsored by yours truly).

This one ought to be good. Juxtapoz friends Jay Howell and Mark Whalen (with Mr. Whalen being featured in the January 2012 issue of Juxtapoz) are opening a new show, Midnight On the Sun, at Fecal Face Dot Gallery on Saturday, February 18. The show will feature 60 new works from the artists, and there will be a zine release for Jay Howell's newest zine THE DARK WAVE.
