Featuring over 100 prints and numerous sculptural works, Thinking Of You is one of the largest and most intricate exhibitions the artist Jason Jaworski has created. Spreading the work out across two large scale installations and a video piece projected onto glass, the selection emphasizes the layers of meaning in the artist’s work, specifically his career-long mediation and incorporation of time, memory, chance and distance.

This past Fall, as we have documented in full, we saw 6 artists off to Detroit to work with Powerhouse Productions as part of our 15th Anniversary Benefit and Auction project. Swoon, Ben Wolf, Monica Canilao, RETNA, Richard Colman, and Saelee Oh all created unique pieces of art in the neighborhood where the money we raised was able to buy property. The local Detroit Free Press just highlighted the project in an extensive article. More information after the jump . . .

Cover artist and participating Detroit artist RETNA has a new video on LA Forward that shows him giving a tour of his mural in downtown LA that he painted with Mac based on a photograph by Estevan Oriol. What was supposed to be informative turns a tad confrontational as a man near the mural starting shouting at the film crew and Retna. Watch after the jump . . .

Swoon just released a preview of the print, and the proceeds from the print will go to Swoon's "Konbit Shelter" project in Haiti which funds the construction of sustainable adobe style buildings for Haitian residents who have been displaced by the earthquake earlier this year. This is it. We are leaving. Miami, see you next year. Well, you never know, Jason Jaworski, our correspondent in Miami may find some more pictures on his Basel camera, but we may just be saying goodbye now. Jason made some last minute stops at NADA and found a Barbara Kruger Chess Set. More pictures after the jump . . .

Tod Seelie just posted another quick video upon his wrap-up visit to Detroit for the Juxtapoz artist project, this time revisiting the great collaboration we all saw between RETNA and Richard Colman. As you may remember, Richard and RETNA combined their works with abstract shapes and lettering done in both black and silver. Video after the jump . . .

Tod Seelie, who spent extensive time in Detroit for our Juxtapoz artist project, just returned to the Motor City with Ben Wolf and Swoon to finish and record their separate projects. Tod just sent us a video of Ben's final product, and full house addition and installation inside. Quite stunning work. Video after the jump . . .
