Bwana Spoons' Pencil Fight #3 is finally here! This one is the "When Plants Attack" issue. There's a release party tonight in Portland, OR at the Grass Hut Shop, where they are also hosting the First Annual Pencil Fight Championships. Art Book Signings Galore

We added a bunch of artist book signings and one arty workshop to our Events page. This Thursday, Nov 10th, Gary Baseman, Daniel Chang, Ana Bagayan, Laura Smith, Simone Legno, James Jean, Bella Pilar will be at the Taschen Book Store in Beverly Hills signing Taschen's new book, ILLUSTRATION NOW! Jeff Soto (shown) will be at Subject Matter Gallery in Costa Mesa on December 3rd to sign his new book Potato Stamp Dreams Jenny Hart of Sublime Stitching will be teaching an embroidery class at Make Workshop in NYC on November 30th. Also in NYC, Mike Burnett and Chris Ryniak are having a two person show at The Showroom on December 2nd. In addition to the art on the walls, they will have limited edition, handmade toys for sale and the event will mark the release of Weird Things are Happening in the Future - Mr. Ryniak's new book containing 33 full color reproductions of his paintings and sculptures from 2003-2005.
