Hiroshi Goto

Juxtapoz // Thursday, October 18, 2007
If we asked for a show of hands from those who like James Jean's work, we would probably lose count before we got even close to the last hand. His style is delicate and understated and fantastic, a lot like James himself. Most of you probably haven't heard of Hiroshi Goto, but after you see his work we expect just as many hands raised for him. Goto's style is similar to Jean's but with simpler subjects and more dashes of color. Like two artists from the same school of painting: the similarities are there, but the voices are distinct. Get to know Hiroshi's work at his portfolio site. It helps if you can read French and Japanese, but doesn't it always?
