New Jade Mural

Peruvian muralist, Jade, is back again with another new mural in Lima, Peru. The artist painted a character popping out of some green liquid with colorful pennants flags above. Apparently, this location will be the home of a friends new business.

Peruvian muralist, Jade, recently painted the following mural and had these words to accompany it. "Above all else, guard your heart" ... in 80% of Peruvian households houses and you will find a Heart of Jesus, but the image on the street makes more power, because it is for everyone. It is painted in Upper Peru in a neighborhood where the wall took a lot of meaning for its inhabitants, because for more poverty and difficult circumstances, Faithmoves thanks to Ivan for motivating me to paint their wall.”

Since the 18th century in South America, an annual religious procession is held on October 28 in honor of The Lord of the Miracles. A slave originally painted a black Christ on the walls of a hut at the Pachacamilla plantation, near Lima. Despite several attempts to obliterate the painting and even a massive quake in 1746 that brought everything down around it, the piece still stayed intact.

Peruvian muralist, Jade, recently completed this piece with one of his signature characters looking through a lines of flags. Jade spoke on this particular piece saying that the local children embraced the mural the most, giving it their own name of “El Gigante” or in English “The Giant.”

Peruvian artist, Jade’s newest mural painted in Huaraz, Peru, depicts a character placing ancient artifacts on a machines conveyer belt to be processed into standard bricks. The imagery and statement with this particular piece is strong, questioning our history, current culture and its future.
