Friend of the family and Amsterdam-based Parra will be opening a new solo show, Il Senso di Colpa (The Guilt), at Galleria Patricia Armocida in Milan, Italy on May 27, 2013. The exhibit consists in seven medium-sized canvases, ten watercolors, four black and white drawings as well as two sculptures.

This morning we bring you some more finger paintings and a process video from Milan-based artist Troilo. Troilo tries to express the uncomfortable condition of being trapped in a void where the rules of society don't apply. There are no dresses, colors, or objects, and we are liberated from useless accessories. His style developed one day, when attempting to translate his drawings into paintings. He found himself using his fingers when he couldn't find any brushes.

Italian artist Alessandro Lupi individually painted each of plyamide thread with fluorescent paint for his latest series of installations entitled Fluorescent Densities and illuminated them with a black light. 

This morning we take a look at the hyperrealistic paintings of Venice and Udine-based artist Vania Comoretti. Her drawings are created using mixed techniques: water-colour, Indian ink and pastel on paper. Vania attended several courses in advertising graphics before graduating in Restoration and Painting from teh Venice School of Fine Arts.

The “No Muos” movement is attempting to halt the construction of a United States Department of Defense ground station that is being built within the Nature Reserve of Niscemi, Italy. The site has been deemed environmentally important by the European Commission Habitats Directive and public prosecutors have identified that the MUOS construction violates environmental legislation governing the nature reserve. Italian muralist, Blu, headed to Niscemi to help spread the message and created a massive mural of a satellite dish machine against an army of protestors. 

Italian artist Francesca Pasquali cuts plastic draws at varying lengths and arranges them in patterns to create her sculptures. The seemingly simple concept results in a visually captivating and textured landscape. Francesca relates her work with plastic to ideas in the natural world saying, "Observing nature itself, I transfer the essential being of it. The interlacing forms transform the industrial material into soft and sensual shapes."

During Milan Design Week 2013, Italian-based artistic team Carnovsky unveiled their RGB Fabulous Landscapes. The exhibition featured digital fresco's printed using a technique by Italian company graphicreport in which the painting's landscapes, figures, architecture and atmosphere change depending on whether natural, red, green, or blue light is applied. 

Or should we say, the works of Agnes Cecile, because Silvia goes by that moniker as well. We are very much into the works of the Italian artist this morning, who was born in Rome in 1991. The works drip and bleed onto figurative characters, with almost rainbow blasts and dreams come to life. We like how some of the works have that double-exposure effect to them. 

A collaboration between Italian sculptor Aron Demetz and Korean sculptor Shan Hur has produced a fascinating series of pieces entitled, The Tainted. The two artists were able to explore the human figure and by contrasting both smoothly and harsh surfaces with incredible skill.
