“My morning coffee tends to be looking up some sort of bit of slang from somewhere and drawing it,” says Bristol-based graffiti writer and illustrator, 45RPM in Ironlak’s newest edition of their Strikers series shot by Selina Miles. 45RPM has developed an (un)healthy obsession with creating impromptu scrawls based around nonsense verbiage informed by cockney rhymes – a type of English slang which originated in the East End of London.

In 2013 Read The Label and Mutant Pros teamed up with Red Bull to make a film blending graffiti and skateboarding to demonstrate how the two cultures are similar. Starting in LA a team of skaters which includes Sewa Kroetkov and Rykeis Tyson and a team of graffiti artists and muralists such as James Haunt, Sofles, Steel, and Jurne took a road trip stopping in Sacramento, San Fransisco, and Oakland to skate and paint.

Tomorrow night and only for that night, Sofles will be having an exhibition for the premier of the new video “Limitless,” along with new paintings and prints on display at the Junglers Art Space in Brisbane, Australia. Hosted by the spray paint company Ironlak, the exhibition begins at 7pm, with the film screening at 8 pm sharp.

The internationally well-known writer, Banos is seen in the following video painting a bus for the Outpost: Art from the Streets Festival in Sydney, Australia. The Ironlak school bus will rotate artists painting its exterior every weekend during the Outpost Festival
