New Murals from AEC of Interesni Kazki in Cholula, Mexico

AEC who makes up half of the Ukrainian mural duo, Interesni Kazki, painted multiple murals while visiting Cholula, Mexico. The artist also teamed up with Mexico City-based muralist, Saner, for a joint collaboration.  These particular pieces look that much better and add a lot of life to the old dilapidated walls.

Nobody is painting the type of murals quite like the ones Waone and Aec of Intereski Kazki are.  Their work is a stand out amongst the new surge of muralists working right now.  Waone is in Poland participating in the Europejska Fundacja Kultury Miejskiej Festival and took over the entire side of the following building with his surreal imagery.

Aec of Interesni Kazki was recently in Mexico City and linked up with locals Saner and Sego to collaborate on the following wall.  Aec painted a hatted saguaro cactus playing a corn necked guitar, Saner is responsible for the two masked characters one who is dancing, and Sego with the purple fish.  Nice mashup of styles!

Last week, we were down in Mexico City as both a sponsor and participant in the All City Canvas urban art festival. Last Thursday the exhibition PIEZAS opened as part of the Festival All City Canvas at Fifty24MX in Mexico City. Several pieces were on view by many of the artists participating in the festival such as Saner, Roa, Interesni Kazki, Aryz, Sego and El Mac.

We have our Mexico City colleagues on the scene at the huge Public Art festival, All City Canvas, where an all-world roster of artists (Roa, Escif, Saner, Herakut, Vhils, Interesni Kazki, El Mac, Aryz, and Sego) are painting huge walls around the Mexican capital. After the first few days, some massively good works are being produced. Check out some of the progress shots we were able to capture.

The Ukrainian duo, Interesni Kazki, just completed this wonderfully detailed new mural in Atlanta for the Living Walls Conference.   The two artists recently completed a mural in Baltimore and are rumored to be heading to Mexico City next for another project.
