Another day and yet another new mural by AEC of Interesni Kazki. The Ukrainian artist’s work has been consistency showing up all over the map over the last month. Participating this time in the Los Muros Hablan festival, AEC painted the sublime image of a semi-covered floating body with a plant coming out of the chest. Where there would normally be a flower on the plant, there is instead a heart. A hummingbird and a frog are also found there own respective places in this piece.

In just a few weeks, the streets of Wynwood in Miami will be flooded with people, mostly artists, and a whole lot of spray paint fumes. Every year during Art Basel this industrial section of Miami hosts a sizeable amount of walls to artists of all kinds, the majority being street artists and graffiti writers. The Ukrainian duo, Interesni Kazki , already got a jump start before all the chaos (probably a smart move) and painted an entire building with their highly imaginative imagery. Check out some of these detail photos because there is a lot of detail!

Our friends at the UnderDogs in Lisbon, Portugal have been working on public art and street art programs in the city all year, and they just passed along a video of one of our favorite duos, Interesni Kazki. The Ukranian artists spent time in Lisbon working on a mural, and have been captured here in process, and perhaps taking a dip in the Atlantic Ocean.

Wherever this place that AEC of Interesni Kazki created exists, it looks plenty stressful and I’m not sure we want to go there! Maybe we are there and we just don’t know it? The new ink drawing shows various periods of evolution and AEC wrote vague descriptions of some of the sections as, “The era of dinosaurs, constellations, age of discovery, technical progress, weapon, human beings, and envoy.”
