Based in Victoria, Australia, artist Michael Peck's oil paintings explore the sensation of disorientation and dislocation that is often felt in the post-modern world, particularly the loss of cultural identity. The scenes in Peck's paintings are quiet, and the participants pause as they stand, withdrawn, juxtaposed against a dynamic population with the uncertainty of belonging.

Superjail! is an incredibe American animated television series created by Christy Karacas on Adult Swim. It that takes place in an unusual prison, characterized by psychedelic shifts in setting and plot and extreme graphic violence, depicted through highly elaborate animated sequences, which have been described as "baroque and complicated and hard to take in at a single viewing". LOVE.

The Music Scene

Though it was released a year or two ago, the music video for the title track of Blockhead's album "The Music Scene", is one of the most incredibly illustrated animations that I have EVER seen. I recently came across it again, and if you have yet to witness this masterpiece by Anthony Schepperd, please do yourself a favor.
