Growing up in the Ren and Stimpy generation, I can't help but be amused by and attracted to the grotesque, exaggerated work of German artist Dirk Erik Schulz. His cartoonish, and grossly sarcastic illustration style is reminiscent of the era of Mad magazine and early Nickelodeon, when I dreamed that one day I could get slimed on You Can't Do That on Television also...

All it takes are a couple hundred triangles. Dutch graphic designer and illustrator, Inge Jalink, takes the simplest of geometrtic shapes and creates portraits of household names in the superhero department. We think Batman is by far our favorite.

Simon’s Cat is a charming, yet mischievous cat that lives with Simon. He made his first appearance online, in a film called 'Cat Man Do'. Since then he has also appeared in his own books, game and comic strip. Simon is an English animator who has a great interest in British wildlife, painting, the great outdoors and of course cats. He started animating at a very young age, and in real life owns 4 cats Jess, Maisy, Hugh and Teddy.

'Circle of Eight' is a ball point pen and watercolor illustration from a creative out in Philadelphia that goes by the name of Hush and is currently on display at Thinkspace Gallery as part of their “Wild at Heart: Keep Wildlife in the Wild,” exhibition. The purpose of the show is to raise awareness about the precarious predicament of wild creatures around the world, and to benefit efforts to protect them in their natural habitat...
