Night Videos

Illustration // Saturday, March 02, 2013
Night Videos is an incredibly bizarre, future-focused animation courtesy of Stockholm-based duo Kungen and Hertigen. Completed for MTV, their Night Videos are surreal slices of stunningly-animated, abstract visions of an otherworldly experience. I love everything about it though- from the harsh geometry of features, to the strange compositions and awkward fluidity. Enjoy x

Aleksandra Niepsuj

Illustration // Friday, March 01, 2013
'My ‘art’ story started with the drawing of a duck, swimming in a pond with helicoper-like feet. I was six years old and my mum was sure she should sign me up for an art class. Although the famous drawing disappeared, I kept on developing myself artistically and went to art school. I work with pencil, ink, paint, spraypaint and collage. I copy old papers, books, magazines, postcards, lettraset by xerox, often magnify some parts. I’m usually searching for interestng patterns and typography...' Aleksandra Niepsuj

Illustrations by Tyler Landry

Illustration // Friday, March 01, 2013
The shortest and most direct route straight to my heart is through bootlegged illustrations of Bart Simpson, or any member of the Simpsons family for that matter - special lust-worthy bonus if its Bard gone Bad with a sickly Siamese Milhouse attached. Tyler Landry, you win. Thank you for your illustrations. He also has a bunch of humorous hermit crabbed themed comics in there as well. Enjoy it.
