We have always been a fan of the work of Taipei, Taiwan-based illustrator Hsiao Ron Cheng, and we noticed that there was an update on her site and wanted to share some of the new pieces."My work alludes to the deformation that physically separates children from plants and animals," she says. "The environments and situations that I paint are often of surrealist nature, reminiscent of school, and partly based on phantasy."

The independent spirit of alternative art and music is celebrated in "Go With The Flow," a visual tribute to the band Queens of the Stone Age that features contemporary artists from around the world, including Marco Mazzoni, Hsiao Ron Cheng, Jessican Joslin, Andrew Hem, and many more. Organized by BonelliLAB and ARTLAB, the show runs from August 11 - September 2 at Villa Bottini in Lucca, Italy.
