Dazed and Confused wrote an article which notes Cony, Horfe and others from PAL crew as part of a loosely defined genre described as “Comic Abstraction.” As the author states, “Taken one way, the works are innocuous, colourful, abstract shapes. Turn back and they lurch, grimace and menace, Disney turned evil. Sortais is one of the finest examples of new Comic Abstraction, pushing it to new directions with an infectious energy.”

This weekend in NYC, one of our favorite graffiti artists, Horfe, will be joining others in a group show at Klughaus Gallery. One of the reasons we have always admired the works of the Parisian artist is his mixture of classic animation and illustration to a public medium, creating a unique and prolific body of work on the streets. Here is our interview with the artist from January 2012.

Do you enjoy listening to classical music while looking at graffiti or Gucci Mane? We prefer both as does Pear with some Ghostface Killa, 2 Chainz, and Abner Jay sprinkled in. Follow Pear and friends as they travel around and indulge in various adventures whether graffiti related or not. There are some guest in action appearances from Begr, Pout, Cfish, Wyse, Shock, Dzee, and more.
