Halloween Tip #3: Keep Your Skeletons in the Closet

Juxtapoz // Monday, October 31, 2011
This is a clever idea, and one that is perfect for Halloween; Greek design studio Dede created the "Skitch," a hangar in the shape of a skeleton that literally lets you keep your skeletons in the closet. Do the Greeks have Halloween? It doesn't ring a bell, but they have the mood down perfectly.

Halloween Tip #2: Try and Dress Like A John Cebollero Painting

Juxtapoz // Monday, October 31, 2011
When we were thinking of some classic Halloween art today, we thought first of the fantastic subscriber cover of the 2009 Pushead Halloween Issue done by painter John Cebollero. We think if you can pull this costume-look off for Halloween, you have the rite of passage to be a grown up celebrating Halloween.

Halloween Tip #1: Chia Dog

Juxtapoz // Monday, October 31, 2011
We don't normally condone pet costumes on Halloween, or people above the age 15 going out on Halloween and ruining it all for children (unless your costume is amazing), but we are going to give the world a pass on this one; the Chia Dog. And the great thing is you can't tell if this dog is distressed or not for being chia-fied.

Sentient Kitchen Series by Christine Chin

Juxtapoz // Tuesday, October 25, 2011
It is getting close to Halloween, and as many are preparing for their costume parties, pumpkin carving parties, or just straight let's get weird parties, may we suggest some really appropriate housewares for the occasion? Christin Chin has created the Sentient Kitchen Series, featuring creepy hand salt shakers, and hairy pepper noses.

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, October 12, 2011
Yes, that is a mask, and not a dude with long hair. And yes, we are getting close to Halloween and my Tobias Funke costume just got a little easier to manage. These are human face masks by Japanese company, Real-F, who use DPF (3D photo form) technology to create these extremely realistic masks.

Resident art weirdo has made his way from San Francisco to New York and now Miami. In a new video, Neckface talks about his last solo show, Devil's Disciple. “Even today when I’m doing work, I’m laughing as I do it,” he states. “I can’t believe I’m drawing this shit!”

Juxtapoz // Saturday, October 31, 2009
Neck Face plans to turn Miami inside out in his premiere solo exhibition tonight. The artist will deconstruct all 10,000 square feet of O.H.W.O.W. and build a world complete his own, including a haunted house installation, designed to frighten viewers as they enter the space. Just perfect for Halloween night.
