After our partnership with Outside Lands over the summer Juxtapoz was lucky enough to be invited to partner with Treasure Island Music Festival. After a light breakfast we headed to Civic Center to take the free shuttle, yes free, out to the island, a quick 10 - 15 minute ride across the Bay Bridge to enter the festival and see the likes of Public Enemy, The xx, Grimes, Ty Segall, Matthew Dear, Youth Lagoon, M83, and others.

Born in Cabiao Nueva Ecija, Philippines in 1987, Kristina currently lives and works in southern California. I'm loving the new portrait of Grimes with her gorgeous palette and intricacy.
