Greek artist Elias Kafouros is opening a solo show entitled A Thesis on the Shelf at Alpha Δelta Gallery in Athens Greece on April 25th. A tangle of seemingly different stories unravel in his brilliant drawings. Each of the stories 'are being enveloped along intertwined paths' and 'despite the fact that the final image is articulated by classical forms, it acquires an intense psychedelic character.'

Blurring the lines between sculpture and installation, Chicago-based artist Scott Carter deconstructs and repurposes gallery walls to create his sculptures. He will cut drywall and wood directly out of the walls of the galleries of which he's showing to use in his work.

Athens-based documentary photographer Anna Pantelia composed a series of photos by recycling photos of urban landscapes by combining them with portraits. She titled the series Recycle because the project takes something useless and converts it into something useful.

What became very apparent to us in our time in Europe over the past two weeks is that Blu draws a crowd and a discussion. His newest piece in Greece, with a poignant look at the Euro Crisis and the impending Greek default is one of our all-time favorite pieces from the Italian muralist.
