The Fulton Mall facing Albee Square in Brooklyn, Ny received a much needed renovation courtesy of the skillful hand of Steven Powers.  The artist recently painted a huge parking garage in Downtown Brooklyn and there will surely be several more popping up in the future.  Is Powers a sneaker connoisseur or jabbing at our consumerism behavior?

Two artists that we continuously get excited about, Horfe and HuskMitNavn came together in Sweden at Gallery Steinsland Berliner to display their collective talents.   Horfe appears to be staking claim as one of the most progressive and influential graffiti writers to hit the scene in sometime, and we are waiting in anticipation to see more!

Man, Animal, and The Machines, featuring new work by graffiti writer Optimist, opens this Saturday, October 8 at Old Crow Tattoo in Oakland.   As the artist states, “I’m working on 8 - 10 compositions on brown butcher paper about man, animals, and machines all fighting for existence on planet earth, and some smaller less complicated drawings on the same subject.”
