Video: Concrete Wall Project Presents Sawe

Herokid’s refreshingly creative new video in their ongoing series Concrete Walls Project highlights the Catalan graffiti writer, Sawe.  The artist’s playful illustrations are animated over the video, including a desaturated/yellow overall look and fitting soundtrack.  Graffiti videos tend to be plagued with cliché hip hop soundtracks and poor editing, leaving us to ponder why more are not being made at the following quality level.  The bar has been raised.

StayHigh 149 Tribute by Shok1

London-based graffiti writer, Shok 1, makes most of his work look as if it has been x-rayed; maybe in an attempt to make sure the letter structure is not broken!   In his distinct spray-painting method, the artist recreated the recently passed StayHigh 149’s iconic smoking stick figure and it’s one of the best tributes we have seen so far.
