Roid "More Than Ever" Exhibition Photos

Graffiti // Monday, June 11, 2012
We are deeply disappointed that we are unable to see Roid’s debut solo exhibition “More than Ever” with Topsafe London in person.  The artist’s work is a mix and is influenced by typography, design, geometry, Manga, computers, robots, music and the list goes on, with one eye catching color palette for sure.  His work has been courting our attention for a while and from these pictures one could easy think the canvases were created digitally.

New Mural by Rime & Revok

Graffiti // Monday, June 11, 2012
In association with the Detroit Beautification Project, Revok and Rime collaborated in painting this large mural packed with a variety of visual awesomeness.  Aside from the quality pieces from these two, Rime painted an angry yet comical animal eating one of his signature girl characters who are running rampant all over the wall.

Keta Mine

Graffiti // Sunday, June 10, 2012
Baer has been painting the funniest drug-induced scenarios over the last year with this one being a favorite of ours.  All the celebrity cats are included, with the background cleverly spelling K-hole!  It’s a party, it’s a party, it’s a party..ehhhh!!!!

Taki 183

Graffiti // Saturday, June 09, 2012
Although this picture could easily open up the floodgates for various jokes, we will just praise Taki 183 for his early pioneering of graffiti and for still being down to rock a tag with a green polo tucked in.  Plus a big ol’ smile!  Photo taken during installation of the “Art in the streets” show in Los Angeles last year.

Metallica Mark

Graffiti // Friday, June 08, 2012
Hats off to you Mark, the Metallica logo is one of the more technically difficult band logos to draw, let alone paint.  Plus, you only had one chance, no cleaning up, just a simple outline.

Now How did he....

Graffiti // Friday, June 08, 2012
This dude looks a little bewildered by the size of the this Adek outline and we don’t blame him.
