Even though the city of New York decided to foolishly spend their money and resources on half buffing a dark tunnel with over 40 years of graffiti history in it, gems do still exist down there. Plus, all that beige buff has already started turning to color once again. Large doing his part in color adding.

Miriam Londono makes a career out of interesting paper sculptures and installation like work, but it is her paper calligraphy, and her paper graffiti, that has our attention this morning. The layering, detail, and the ability to manipulate paper is something we have not seen before.

Fresh paint’s video series highlights a number of talented writers and for their newest installment they have focused on Hert. This video was shot in a sewer tunnel while Hert uses only a flare to see what he is painting. Good song.
