Coinciding with the Gorillaz x Converse Collection, the successful music/animation project  Gorillaz is back with a new video featuring the animated characters with CGI effects. The track also features former LCD Soundsystem-er James Murphy and Andre 3000 from Outkast.

CONVERSE announced today their newest footwear collab will be with the band Gorillaz to drop in February 2012. The iconic Chuck Taylor All Star will come decorated with the band's legendary graphic images, designed by award-winning designer and Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett utilizing exclusive prints incorporating elements from their artwork.

Put this in the art rock category. Damon Albarn (of Blur origin) has been for so long considered to be the "face" of the animated Gorillaz group, that you forget the entire imagery of the band has been created by the talented Jamie Hewlett. Think about it: your parents probably know the work of Jamie Hewlett now, and chances are, unless they were very cool, they didn't know "Tank Girl."
