Cassel Gallery and Goorin Bros. Hat Company are proud to present Relics of the New World, a group exhibition featuring Lucien Shapiro, Henry Lewis, Lango Olivera, and Charlie O’Hanlon. Relics challenges the fate of forgotten things in a world of excess, and breathes new life into discarded and found objects.

Cassel Gallery and Goorin Bros. Hat Company are proud to present, Flora N Fauna, curated by Amandalynn. By definition, Flora and Fauna means Nature, the environment of plants and animals living around you. Amandalynn has been inspired by this subject matter her whole life, spending much of her childhood hiking through the woods, finding and identifying different types of wild flowers and forest creatures.

Goorin Brothers rolls out a new collection today, April 26, 2012, by Victor Reyes, titled the XO collection. A two-part party will begin at Goorin's Haight Street store near Ashbury from 5pm to 8pm, then move over to their Cassel Gallery for a special opening to feature Reyes' new "Hold On Tightly" works from 8:30pm to 11pm.

Goorin Bros gathered a group of Juxtapoz alumni in Pose, Steel, Reyes, and Richard Colman in Chicago's Wicker Park District to create a mural featuring a bunch of old imagery from past Goorin catalogs. KC Ortiz of We Are Supervision was at the helm for the video's production.

STEEL's first solo show, The Good, the Bad, and the Cheesy, is having its last days at Goorin's gallery space in San Francisco. The show that features Pose, Reyes, Richard Colman, Lango, Amandalynn, Luke Stewart, and Dylan Maddux comes down tomorrow (March 3), so it is your last chance to check it out. Photographer Ken Goto will open a new show, Extended Vacation, featuring photos with collaborative elements with Ed Templeton, Lance Mountain, Barry MCgee, Ian Johnson, Mat O'Brien, Steel, Victor Reyes, Kami, and Chris Lindig. The show is in conjunction with Goorin Bros, and will be held at Cassel Gallery in San Francisco starting on Saturday, March 5. More images after the jump . . .
