Skarstedt London is delighted to announce an exhibition of new works on paper by American artist George Condo, to coincide with a solo exhibition at Simon Lee Gallery from 11th February 2014. This will be the artist’s third solo show at Skarstedt and the first at the new London gallery, which follows his acclaimed retrospective George Condo: Mental States, at the Hayward Gallery, London in 2011- 2012.

Cult-followed and fashion staple Supreme has been in the news quite a bit in the past week, first with a huge spread in the NY Times, and now they will have a skate deck retrospective exhibition at the 032c Workshop in Berlin opening Saturday, December 1. The deck collaboration series for Supreme has seen some of the biggest names in contemporary art stop in for a few deck designs: Damien Hirst, George Condo, Takashi Murakami, Richard Prince, KAWS, Marilyn Minter, and Futura, to name a few.

Our good friends in Mexico City made it out to the 2012 Mexico Contemporary Art Fair (MACO) last week, and from the looks of it, there was a ton of good booths and artists on display in Mexico City, including Takashi Murakami, Dr Lakra, George Condo, Pedro Friedeberg, Maya Hayuk, Clayton Brothers, and other heavyweights of the contemporary art world. We stopped by the opening of legendary artist George Condo’s solo exhibition at Prism Gallery in Los Angles. In the first extensive exhibition of George Condo’s work in Los Angeles, PRISM will present a selection of paintings, drawings and sculptures across a wide span of his career.

George Condo has now been collaborating with celebrated hip-hop and pop star Kanye West for a few years now, and it looks like the fine artist has just completed the cover for West's "Thera Flu" single. The piece is unmistakenably Mr. Condo.

George Condo, who has been the subject of great retrospectives over the past 18 months, will open his first retrospective in London today, October 18. Mental States will be housed at Hayward Gallery through January 8, 2012, focusing on Condo's "imaginary portraits," the absurd and distorted portraits he has become famous for.

This Thursday, June 18, George Condo has a new show opening featuring a collection of etchings at Jack Rutberg Fine Arts in Los Angeles. Condo has been in the press over the past 12 months with the album cover work for Kanye West and the major retrospective at the New Museum in NYC.

This is a two-way street of good decisions: the Museum of Modern Art and Kanye West have teamed up for pop-superstar Mr. West to play perform at their annual Party in the Garden benefit taking place on May 10, 2011 in the MoMA's Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden.
