The group show Infinite Color opens this Saturday March 3, 2012 at Gallery Hijinks in San Francisco.  The show will feature a range of artists including Stephen Scott Smith, Joshua Petker, Chris Valkov, Seth Neefus, David Wien, and our friend Kevin Bouton Scott whose art for the band Japanther always pleases the eyes!  If you find yourself in the Bay Area stop by.  Show runs through the March 31, 2012.

I stopped by Gallery Hijinks in San Francisco last weekend for the opening of Matthew Craven's solo show 'FRGMNT'. Craven's gorgeous and cohesive series of mixed media and illustration work in his new '#2 pencil' palette was a beautiful shift from his previous primary color work that i had seen in New York. Gallery Hijinks is proud to present Point of Vision, a collection of painting, sculpture, and installation by Gregory Ito. In this new body of work Gregory continues his exploration of the concept of time, broadening his focus from lunar cycles to the cycle of a day, or rather everyday, from dawn to dusk and back again.
