We headed back to Wynwood on Friday night for the book signing event for the Underbelly Project. About 20 artists, including Anthony Lister, Ron English, Eric Haze, Gaia, and dozen others were all there, and the Wynwood District was incredibly busy and bustling.

Thinkspace Gallery of Los Angeles, California curated a group exhibition, LAX/PDX, at Together Gallery in Portland, Oregon, featuring over 60 paintings by 50+ artists from all over the globe as well as an installation by DABS MYLA. Lots of looks of the works after the jump . . .

As promised, here is Part 2 of our 2-part interview with street and studio artist Gaia. Gaia is a native New Yorker who first established his poster presence on the streets of Brooklyn and lower Manhattan in 2007. Now about to enter his junior year at Maryland Institute College of Art, Gaia has been turning heads and piquing interest wherever his art is left. Gaia believes in his work whole-heartedly. “[Do] I think my work is more beautiful than graf? Honestly yeah, I do.” Gaia states. Find out why.
