Grass Carpeted Streets

Street Art // Friday, March 30, 2012
In attempt to connect the small French village of Jaujac to it’s vibrant natural surroundings, artist Gaelle Villedary installed 1400 feet of grass snaking through the city streets.  The city was also celebrating its 10th anniversary of their arts and nature program.  The installation was made of 168-lawn turf rolls laid over ¼ mile distance.
