Maybe this is because we are super excited about the new Arrested Development season, but anything with a banana right now is on our radar. Cleon Daniel has created this hybrid of pool and miniature golf with the Banana Pool Table, complete with yellow felt and 4 holes instead of 6. We say there is a new beer pongish game to be had here....

Bowlingheads by Oliver Paaß http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/bowlingheads-by-oliver-paass http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/bowlingheads-by-oliver-paass Bowlingheads by Oliver Paaß
From German design agency, Jung von Matt: "We designed special bowling balls together with famous spraygun artist Oliver Paass that look like cut-off heads. For more than three weeks he made detailed 360° layouts that were sprayed on standard bowling balls. In several German bowling alleys we swapped the standard balls for these special ones."

Crocheted Crotches by Andrea Pritschow http://www.juxtapoz.com/erotica/crocheted-crotches-by-andrea-pritschow http://www.juxtapoz.com/erotica/crocheted-crotches-by-andrea-pritschow Crocheted Crotches by Andrea Pritschow
German artist Andrea Pritschow's body of work consists of hundreds of multi-colored crocheted phalluses. Pritschow challenges the traditional formula of male artists eroticizing female bodies by taking on stereotypically 'female' craftwork to not only eroticize but domesticate masculinity and male virility. Her knit castrations use de-contexualisation and abstraction to also call into question the idea of profanity within the art context.

Famous Artists and Their Cats http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/famous-artists-and-their-cats http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/famous-artists-and-their-cats Famous Artists and Their Cats
Well, we should have known. We, or I should say I because I am speaking only for myself, used to think maybe I shoudn't tell the masses that I own a cat, but seeing that Dali, Warhol, Matisse, O'Keefe, Picasso, Kahlo, Weiwei, Klimt, Klee, Gorey and others all loved their cats, I no longer feel ashamed. Its a cat union party up in here. Thank you Flavorwire for grabbing this collection.

Lush's view on Cops http://www.juxtapoz.com/graffiti/lushs-view-on-cops http://www.juxtapoz.com/graffiti/lushs-view-on-cops Lush's view on Cops
Most of the time his work is controversial, people love to hate him while others find entertainment and humor in his work. Staying busy is one thing that can’t be denied about Australian graffiti prankster, Lush, with new stuff constantly being churned out. Here’s an update of what he’s been up to, as the artist shifts his attention to cops in his new walls and illustrations.

Lost and Found and Inspirational Flyer Series by Nathaniel Russel http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/lost-and-found-and-inspirational-flyer-series-by-nathaniel-russel http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/lost-and-found-and-inspirational-flyer-series-by-nathaniel-russel Lost and Found and Inspirational Flyer Series by Nathaniel Russel
Last month, or better known as the April 2013 issue, we featured one of our favorite artists, Indianapolis-based Nathaniel Russell. One of our favorite parts of the robust body of work from Russell are his flyers and "Lost and Found" pieces, where both humor and a WTF that was amazing moment combine into something far more witty than an average flyer. Needles and Pens in SF has compiled many of these pieces in a 'zine, Public Notice.

Portlandia Does Conceptual Art http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/portlandia-does-conceptual-art http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/portlandia-does-conceptual-art Portlandia Does Conceptual Art
Don't get us wrong. Conceptual artists are some of our favorites. Sol Lewitt, John Baldessari, Laurence Weiner, Eleanor Antin, among many others have all produced some of the most beautiful, thought-provoking, and enjoyable works we have seen, but there is plenty of conceptual art out there (some of it not quite as obviously fantastic as others).

Dirty Humor by Mr Bingo http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/dirty-humor-by-mr-bingo http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/dirty-humor-by-mr-bingo Dirty Humor by Mr Bingo
'Some say he's the 'Master of pens'. Some call him the 'Justin Bieber of drawing'. Some say he f**ks about for a living.' Personally, I love the work of Mr. Bingo in all of it's raw, unedited, dirty humored glory. So come around children, let me show you a little something. Grandmother got a new tattoo.

The Skull Ice Cube http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/the-skull-ice-cube http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/the-skull-ice-cube The Skull Ice Cube
In our continuing series of trying to find ways to make your Super Bowl/Valentine's/weekend parties just that much more interesting, we have to applaud Gama-Go and their Skull Ice Cube. On the heels of the LEGO Ice Cube Tray, we think its just as classy, if not classier, kids, to have your Scotch on the rocks. With a skull. Just a skull.

The LEGO Brick Ice Tray http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/the-lego-brick-ice-tray http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/the-lego-brick-ice-tray The LEGO Brick Ice Tray
Entertain your Super Bowl party/Academy Awards guests (or guest, maybe you keep it low key) with something a little more arty this year. We suggest going LEGO, as in LEGO ice cube blocks in yer whiskey and... er, in your Coke or ice water. Make 10 at a time, build yourself a good evening.
