Free Revok

Graffiti // Thursday, June 02, 2011
The Los Angeles police department has temporarily halted Revok’s own graffiti endeavors, but with the help of so many artists from around the world he still remains in the spotlight.  This new head cam video from Noah Banks, painted by Pose, draws additional attention to Revok’s jail sentence.  Free Revok.

Free Hert Video

Graffiti // Thursday, May 26, 2011
We posted some Hert photos last week and then found this video we wanted to share with you.  As we stated in the previous post, “Hert was sentenced to prison in 2010 at SCI Pittsburgh with “real criminals.”  He is still incarcerated and we thought it would be appropriate after the Revok post.  Free Hert!

Front Page Tags from a Jail Cell

Graffiti // Thursday, May 26, 2011
It’s not often a graffiti writers tag graces the cover of The Wall Street Journal, but from a jail cell Revok has a accomplished just this.  Most likely the only person incarcerated with a client list that consists of Levis, Toyota, MGM, HBO, Dickies, and RedBull.  Free Revok!

Free Hert

Graffiti // Thursday, May 19, 2011
Any graffiti writer knows that with the fun, comes the consequences.  Judicial systems have their priorities and need to set examples.  Once in a while, they can go over board and incarcerate writers with sentences that don’t seem rational.  Hert was sentenced to prison in 2010 at SCI Pittsburgh with “real criminals.”

Crumbling Away

Graffiti // Monday, May 16, 2011
Pose and Omens just finished these large sized pieces in Chicago.  Pose painted a Free Revok in respect to recent events.  We love how the wall is crumbling in the middle to add some nice negative space between the two pieces.
