Futuroscope

Located in Vienne, France, Futuroscope is a French theme park based upon multimedia, cinematographic futoroscope and audio-visual techniques.  It also houses 4d cinemas, which are of some of the only examples in the world.   Completed in 1987 by architect Denis Laming, the Futuroscope has seen 35 million visitors since opening day.  The building resembles a giant reflective crystal that’s been unearthed and sharpened.

On his website, he mentions before he was an illustrator, he was, by turns, "an astrophysician, an international snooker player, a hypnotist and an esperanto teacher." He wasn't.
