The Skull Ice Cube http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/the-skull-ice-cube http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/the-skull-ice-cube The Skull Ice Cube
In our continuing series of trying to find ways to make your Super Bowl/Valentine's/weekend parties just that much more interesting, we have to applaud Gama-Go and their Skull Ice Cube. On the heels of the LEGO Ice Cube Tray, we think its just as classy, if not classier, kids, to have your Scotch on the rocks. With a skull. Just a skull.

The LEGO Brick Ice Tray http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/the-lego-brick-ice-tray http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/the-lego-brick-ice-tray The LEGO Brick Ice Tray
Entertain your Super Bowl party/Academy Awards guests (or guest, maybe you keep it low key) with something a little more arty this year. We suggest going LEGO, as in LEGO ice cube blocks in yer whiskey and... er, in your Coke or ice water. Make 10 at a time, build yourself a good evening.

Stay Puft S'more by Brad Hill http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/stay-puft-smore-by-brad-hill http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/stay-puft-smore-by-brad-hill Stay Puft S'more by Brad Hill
Well this is just silly, and by silly we mean near genius and amazingly crafted. Brad Hill took a stab at the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in S'more form, and to us, this is a home run. Not sure if you want to eat this after, because when you make something like this, you sort of want to stare at it. And blog it. And Facebook it. Then Instagram it. Then maybe eat it after you tweet about it. That would be our order of operations.

Gingerbread Brooklyn http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/gingerbread-brooklyn http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/gingerbread-brooklyn Gingerbread Brooklyn
We feel like we haven't even touched on fun Christmas art this year, but thank you to chef Renee Baumann for creating an edible Brooklyn city block, made entirely of gingerbread. Sugar glass windows, brownstones you can eat, this is definitely a perfect piece of holiday art.

Tsuyoshi Ozawa is known as an artist with insight into history and society, yet his method of expression is humorous and full of wit. The exhibition also includes Vegetable Weapon, a series of photographs of women holding guns made from vegetables. The projects have been carried out in different cities world wide, addressing the stupidity of war and violence.

Carl Kleiner's work always grabs our attention. HIs design aesthetic is a truly captivating combination of simple yet bold compositions and subtle attention to detail. On a very basic level, he knows how to make things look good. Even popsicles made of hard, inedible materials.

Look, we often show photorealism on this site, we know that, we enjoy the skill involved. That said, we passed over Doug Bloodworth's this morning, and thought it was just a well-executed photo of a Spider-Man comic with Oreo cookies strewn on top. No, this is an oil painting, and its really, really well-done.

Face Mugs http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/face-mugs http://www.juxtapoz.com/current/face-mugs Face Mugs
We are going to be honest; this could potentially be the best invention we have seen in a long time. Some cure diseases, others find ways to artistically make sure you can eat cookies and donuts seemlessly with your coffee and tea. Pure genius. Pure ingenuity. We may order 10.
